Healthy Families believes that early, nurturing relationships are the foundation for life-long, healthy development. Interactions between families are designed to promote positive parent-child relationships and healthy attachment, and are strengths-based, family-centered, culturally sensitive and reflective. Families are enrolled prenatally or within two weeks after birth. Once enrolled, we offer services to families until the child’s third birthday. Families are offered one home visit per week for the first six months after the child’s birth. After those initial months, visit frequency is based on families’ needs and progress over time. Home visits usually last one hour. *Program is offered in Spanish.

A broad-based parenting intervention delivered over eight weeks for parents who are interested in learning a variety of skills, such as the causes of child behavior problems, setting specific goals, and using strategies to promote child development, manage misbehavior and plan for high-risk situations.

Designed to help participants learn to cope with anger in everyday life, topics include recognizing the signs, taking ownership of consequences and learning to solve problems without anger.

A safe, non-judgmental space where participants can authentically express their identity, hopes, dreams, experiences and truths through art. Please check our website for class schedules, locations, and pricing.
